Hair should be about 1/4 inch long (about the length of a grain of rice) for the wax to properly grip the hair. For best results, I recommend letting your hair grow for at least 10–14 days before your waxing appointment. If you’ve been shaving regularly, you may need a little more growth before your first wax.

Yes. Exfoliation is one of the most important steps in preparing for a wax and helping prevent ingrown hairs. Exfoliate 2–3 times per week leading up to your appointment. Do not exfoliate the day of your wax, but I do recommend exfoliating the night before.

Yes. Proper aftercare helps prevent irritation and ingrown hairs. Continue exfoliating 2–3 times per week and apply an ingrown hair oil daily after showering. You may use ingrown hair oil the same day as your appointment, but wait at least 48 hours before exfoliating.

Yes. For 24 hours after a bikini or Brazilian wax, avoid activities that may cause friction, excessive sweating, irritation, or sun exposure. This includes tanning, exercising, hot tubs, saunas, swimming, and intercourse. Giving the skin time to recover helps reduce irritation and ingrown hairs.

No. Unfortunately Strip by Casey Leigh only provides bikini/brazilian services for female anatomy only.

Yes, we wax everything for men EXCEPT for male anatomy services. 

Some discomfort is normal, especially during your first appointment. Most clients find that regular waxing becomes easier over time as the hair becomes finer and softer. I use hard wax, which is gentler on the skin and ideal for sensitive areas.

Most clients schedule their Brazilian wax every 4–6 weeks for the best results. Consistent waxing helps reduce discomfort and can lead to finer, slower hair growth over time.
